Week 4 Reflection
I was a little stressed this week that I had to alter my action research project. But after meeting with my site supervisor and discussing the changes I felt a little better about the project. I still would like to conduct the original study sometime in the future. I feel it would not only benefit the students but will also prove the districts investment in Odyssey was the right choice.

We have been using Odyssey heavily in our school over the last two years because we have minimum state mandates for graduation percentages and now, if a student is behind on any of their required classes, they get caught up using Odyssey as well as mandatory summer school. One important thing about Odyssey you need to remember, is that the kids using the program need someone to be their mentor/facilitator for the process. In my school, as homeroom teachers it is our responsibility to make sure that our students are keeping up on their Odyssey classes, as well as offer re-takes if they fail any of the exams a multiple number of times as our Odyssey program locks them out of that assessment after three failed attempts.
